Natalia Chai is an independent, solo Edmonton based R&B/Neosoul singer-songwriter. An unconventional combination to most Natalia Chai's sound, lyrics and sultry voice described by listeners as "honey to the ears" brings back a hint of nostalgia to old school R&B/soul combined with elements of Neosoul, trap beats and gospel jazz. Classically trained in piano from the age of 6, Natalia Chai quickly become drawn to artists such as Alicia Keys, Maxwell, Erykah Badu, Jodeci, Brian McKnight, Aretha Franklin and to today's influences that include PJ Morton, Robert Glasper, Mac Ayres, Nao Yoshioka and many more.

Natalia Chai released her first EP entitled "Connections" in March 2017 and not long after that her full length album "Connected" followed in 2018. Natalia Chai has two music videos off of her "Connected" LP for two singles, "S.O.S (SOcial Support)" and "Regretful Acquaintance" where the former was released on January 31, 2018 in conjunction with the national movement Bell Let's Talk Day to end mental health stigma. Both albums discusses real life issues on a global yet individual level that tackles big society concerns to individual personal conflicts.

Natalia Chai performs regularly in the Edmonton local scene but has also shared her sound in other cities. Most notably Natalia Chai had a once in a lifetime opportunity to represent Canada at the 2018 Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival to not only introduce R&B/Neosoul to China but to make international connections that would build both countries up on an intercultural level. In smaller settings Natalia Chai sets an intimate atmosphere and engages in one-on-one conversations to connect with her listeners.

In addition to being an independent act, Natalia Chai has also been featured on other local artist's projects for her skills as a session pianist and keyboardist such as Hail Taxi's single "Bunch of Nothing", collaborations with other local musicians, keyboardist in an all female women's band showcase last year and her musicianship will expand into musical production projects in the film industry.
