It's been 5 months since the infamous album cover shoot that I did with my homie Darren Gee (@beeg33) back in February, and just been over a little over a month since I dropped my CONNECTED LP on June 2. A project where I poured my heart and soul into and proud to be able to share with all of you. There will be some changes happening in the next few months and also some exciting projects that I"m so humbled to be a part of commencing with my website being 100% shifted to this very domain. Although I do admit it's a little sad to say farewell to my other page - it's where everything started for me, where I started to overcome fear that has dominated my life's decisions and actions, and finally say, "Hi, let me introduce to you Natalia Chai Music!" It's been a very busy year so far and will also be a very busy and tough next couple weeks as I prepare for an experience of a lifetime (if you haven't already, check out my blog "Chengdu International Sister Cities Youth Music Festival 2018"). I am so focused and ready to show, learn and grow as Natalia Chai and Natalia Chai Music. As I mentioned before, this experience is not just about me - it is about putting Edmonton and Alberta on the international map where we can show the world what musicians from our region can offer and likewise what the world can expect from us when they bring their arts and crafts to our cities for hosting! We are festival city aren't we? So let us show them what we are made of!
This week's blog will finally share the hard work, raw talent that my photographer and friend did for me who I have the honour to have had along my side to put together the last few pieces of CONNECTED. I only shared a handful and feel extremely heartless for not sharing the rest of his work and the amazing photo shoot that we embarked upon. New music, new photos, and new me!
